President, Founder and Esthetician
Eduardo Ayub was born and raised in Havana, Cuba. He had an early interest in skincare and protected himself early on, prior to it’s fashion, from the sun’s damaging rays. This passion was realized upon his arrival in New York City in 1993 where he garnered a position at the Scott J Salons and became knowledgable about the highly influential Aveda Company. This led to an important educational experience with Horst Rechelbacher who taught him Aromology, the science of scent.
His interest deepened in care of the skin and laser hair removal when he was became a licensed esthetician and took a position at The Vanishing Point on Manhattan’s fashionable lower Fifth Avenue. Year later he started his own business called White Light Skin Care, on Manhattan’s West 9th street.
From this New York City spa sprung the White Light Skin Care of Miami Beach’s South of Fifth neighborhood where it remained for fifteen years. During the epidemic it became clear that creating a private boutique location is what he wanted all along. He moved his spa to the “West Avenue Corridor” of South Beach and is seeing a select group of long-term private clients. At this juncture he is now taking on new clients,
